The Truffles Market
The Truffles Market is traditionally put on in the Place de l’Horloge (Clock Square) on the last Sunday of the year, and has been organized since 1997.
It draws large crowds and gives the Brotherhood of the Blavk Diamond and the Gastronomy of the Luberon an opportunity to parade among the various stands, including that of the “School Kitty” which usually serves pancakes and mulled wine and offers raffle tickets for sale.
The health regulations in force in 2020 led to a scaled-down event, but it is expected that the 2021 edition will see the market back in full force, to the delight of its numerous visitors.
The Gourmelin Challenge Race.
Every year in February, since 2015 (with the exception of 2021 owing to the health crisis) the Pierre Gourmelin Challenge Race is held, comprising a 900m children’s race and two timed races, one over 6kms and the other 12kms, both of which are taken into account as part of the departmental Vaucluse challenge.
